JUDI SIVYER - PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Judi attended Schoolcraft College and Graceland University in Lamoni Iowa where she received her Child Development Credentials. Judi became Montessori Certified and started teaching preschool in 1985. Her children started attending Franklin Road Christian School in 1995 and she was hired one year later. She was working as a teacher aid and created an after school program for FRCS students. When the school moved locations Judi was asked to submit plans to open the preschool. The Train Station began its first year in the Fall of 2001. Judi now administrates the preschool as well as latch-key and study hall for FRCS. Judi has been married for 29 years and has 3 adult children and one grandchild. |

NANCY ANGEL

Nancy Angel attended Schoolcraft College as well as Eastern Michigan University for her education in early childhood education. She has worked in child care for 24 years. Nancy is married to Larry and they have three children: Joshua 27, Mallory 25, and Michelle 19. She has three Grandsons, Gavin, Blake and Clint. She is qualified for teaching early childhood education and certified in CPR and First Aide as well.

SUSIE BACANI

Susie Bacani graduated from Adrian College with a BA in home economics education. After graduation, she worked for three years at Victorian Park preschool in Columbus, Ohio as a pre-k teacher. She has worked in all areas of the children's ministry at Harvest Christian Church over the last seventeen years. She was the director of the children's ministry at Harvest during that time. Susie has worked at The Train Station since 2003. Susie and her husband, Joe, have been married since 1977. They have four daughters: Jenni 28, Beckie 26, Angie 19, and Amanda 18. |

SOPHANY BOYAGIAN

Sophany Boyagian is a graduate from Michigan State University. She has a B.S. in management but is also considering going back to school to pursue a teaching career. She has been working at the pre-school since April 2005 and is certified in CPR. She also is a supervisor at Starbucks part-time. She is also active with her church near downtown Detroit (Citadel of Faith Covenant Church) and wants to take up ministries in the Detroit community. |

JODY FRECHETTE

Jody Frechette started attending Brightmoor Christian Church when she was a teenager. Jody and her husband were called into ministry and have pastored in Florida, Vermont and now here at Brightmoor. Jody continues to work as a nursery coordinator and well as volunteering for Royal Family Kids Camp, and is on the board for the women's ministry. Jody and her husband oversee the middle singles ministry and teach adult Sunday school. Jody has two grown sons and has been married for 30 years. She continues to increase her knowledge and skill by taking continuing education classes relating to the child care field.

Jackie King has been married to Jeff for 35 years and they have 2 children. The King family has attended Brightmoor Christian Church for 33 years and Jackie assists in the youth ministry. She has worked several years in retail and clothing manufacturing between babysitting and nanny jobs. Jackie attended Schoolcraft College for Young Child Development and received her Child Care Credentials upon completion of the program. She worked for the FRCS latch key program for two years and has been with Train Station since the Fall of 2001. |

MEGAN KORDBEGLI

Megan Kordbegli came to Brightmoor in the fall of 2008 as the youth pastor's intern. She is currently earning a degree in World Missions. She has worked with children since she was twelve in areas such as babysitting, vacation Bible school and tutoring. She is CPR/First Aide certified. She is very excited to be working at The Train Station Preschool. |

NADINE MARSHALL

Nadine Marshall has attended Brightmoor Christian Church for two years. Nadine sings in the choir and is a member of the worship team. She also participates in the women's Bible studies. Nadine has been married for 23 years to Ken and they have five daughters and one grandchild. Together they have served as ministry support to Promise Keepers and Acquire the Fire. Although new to The Train Station Preschool, Nadine has ten years of early childhood experience. She has attended Schoolcraft College for Early Childhood Development. She loves children and is energized when children learn foundational concepts that will last a life time. |

SHERRY SCARCHILLI

Sherry has worked in The Train Station since summer of 2007. She has been married to her husband Chris, for ten years and has three children all enrolled at Franklin Road Christian School. She has attended Brightmoor Christian Church for 9 years, and during that time has played a very active roll in the children's ministry. During her time at Brightmoor she has taught in Bible school, Sunday school, worked at Royal Family Kids Camp and has helped as a classroom assistant at FRCS. Sherry continues to increase her skill, experience and knowledge by taking continuing education courses in early education. |

Nicole attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma earning her BA in English Education. She has worked in the education field since 1992. She has taught 5th and 6th grade, language arts, creative writing, Bible, and Directed Preschool. She has been married for 18 years and has 3 children, 17,15 and 10 . She attends Brightmoor Christian Church. Nicole and her family recently relocated to the Detroit area from Philadelphia, PA and loves Michigan and it's beautiful lakes.

MARCELLA CARTER

Marcella is the blessed wife of Tim, they celebrate their 22nd
anniversary this October. They have two sons, Jedidiah, 16, and
Benjamin, 14, both of whom attend Franklin Road Christian School. She
began attending Brightmoor Christian Church 3 years ago, and became a
member soon after. She loves singing in the choir and being involved in
the dramatic productions of BCC. Marcella has delighted in working with
children for many years from babysitting/child care to VBS/Sunday
School. She is an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoys scrap booking,
camping and boating. She is thrilled to be working at Train Station
Preschool.
